Product Care Guide

With the right care, your products will serve you for years. This guide provides simple, practical advice on maintaining your timepieces and apparel in excellent condition.

Watch Care

General Daily Care

  • Avoid exposing your watch to extreme temperatures — prolonged heat or cold can affect the movement and materials
  • Remove your watch before engaging in strenuous physical activity or contact sports
  • Keep your watch away from strong magnetic fields (speakers, magnetic closures, MRI equipment) as these can affect accuracy
  • Avoid exposure to harsh chemicals, perfumes, and cleaning products — apply these before putting on your watch
  • If your watch comes into contact with sweat or salt water, wipe it clean with a dry cloth promptly

Water Resistance

Not all watches carry the same water resistance rating. Please check the product description for your specific model. As a general guide:

Rating

What It Means

No rating indicated

Keep away from all moisture. Suitable for dry use only.

3 ATM / 30m

Splash resistant. Suitable for light rain but not swimming or submersion.

5 ATM / 50m

Suitable for swimming and light water activities. Not for diving.

10 ATM / 100m

Suitable for swimming and snorkelling. Not for scuba diving.

Water resistance ratings apply to static pressure and may be reduced over time. We recommend having the water resistance re-tested annually if you regularly expose your watch to water.

Strap & Bracelet Care

  • Leather straps: wipe with a dry or lightly damp cloth. Avoid prolonged water exposure. Condition periodically with a leather care product. Rotate straps to extend their life.
  • Metal bracelets: clean with a soft brush and mild soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry with a lint-free cloth.
  • Rubber / silicone straps: rinse with clean water after exposure to sweat or salt. Dry thoroughly before storing.

Cleaning the Case & Crystal

  • Use a soft, lint-free cloth to wipe the case and crystal regularly
  • For a more thorough clean, use a cotton swab lightly dampened with water to reach crevices around the lugs and crown
  • Avoid abrasive cloths or chemicals that can scratch or damage the finish

Storage

  • Store your watch in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight when not in use
  • If storing for an extended period, wind the crown gently every few weeks to keep the movement lubricated (for mechanical movements)
  • Use the original box or a soft watch pouch to prevent scratches during storage

Battery

  • Quartz watches are powered by a battery with a typical lifespan of 1 to 3 years depending on the movement and usage
  • When the seconds hand begins to jump in 2-second intervals instead of 1, this typically indicates a low battery
  • Have your battery replaced by a qualified watchmaker or jeweller to ensure the case seal is properly maintained

Apparel Care

General Guidelines

Always refer to the care label on each individual garment, as materials and construction vary across our range. The following guidelines apply to most apparel:

Washing

  • Turn garments inside out before washing to protect the outer surface and any printed or embroidered details
  • Wash dark and coloured items separately, especially for the first wash, to prevent colour transfer
  • Use cold or warm water (30–40°C) unless the care label specifies otherwise. Hot water can cause shrinkage and damage fibres
  • Use a gentle or delicate wash cycle for finer fabrics and structured garments
  • Do not overfill the washing machine — garments need room to move freely for an effective clean

Drying

  • Air drying is recommended for most garments. Lay flat or hang to dry to preserve shape
  • Avoid tumble drying unless the care label explicitly permits it. High heat can shrink fibres and damage structure
  • Keep garments out of direct sunlight when drying to prevent fading

Ironing

  • Iron on the reverse side of the fabric where possible
  • Use the appropriate heat setting for the fabric type (check the care label)
  • Use a pressing cloth between the iron and delicate fabrics to prevent shine or scorching
  • Do not iron over prints, embroidery, or embellishments

Storage

  • Fold knitwear and heavy knits rather than hanging, to prevent stretching and distortion
  • Hang structured shirts and outerwear on appropriate hangers to maintain their shape
  • Store garments in a cool, dry, well-ventilated space away from direct sunlight
  • Use moth-repellent sachets for wool or natural fibre garments stored for extended periods
